| As an independent organisation, Kara's curriculum has been designed to meet the needs of pre-primary children entering a wide range of schools and educational systems, both within India and abroad.
At Kara the primary focus being on 'learning' rather than 'teaching'. It is easy for a teacher to cross a subject off her list as having been 'taught'. However it is much more challenging to assess whether a child has really 'learnt' - understood the learning objective - before moving onto new material.
To ensure that no child is left behind, lessons revolve around small groups of children each working in conjunction with their teacher on open-ended themes and projects, where both student and teacher become equal partners in the learning process.
It is through this dynamic process that Kara offers every student the strongest start, to guarantee the greatest finish
