As a British national resident in Bangalore since March 1992, Katherine launched Kara in April 2006 after working as Founder/Director, Gintara Preschool & Childcare Centres, and Project Coordinator, Planning & Development (Business & Education), Mallya Aditi International School.

Katherine is a passionate educationalist with a proven track record in all areas of learning, management and communications; from recruitment to training, conceptualization to instructional design and teaching to business development.

She is strong ideator, with an ability to customize and practice the latest theories of learning and management in an efficient and user-friendly format, and draws on her international background and experience to ensure Kara remains India's leading early years' specialist.

In addition, Katherine also has in-depth domain knowledge of Design, Training and Education industries plus unique experience in cross-cultural joint-ventures and new business projects. As an experienced and empathic communicator, her focus remains on one key objective; the stronger the start, the greater the finish for every child; creativity with action.

With over 20 years experience in senior management within both leading national and multi-national corporate houses, Hem is a compassionate and committed visionary, dedicated to making Kara the gold-standard for early years' education in India.

His extensive experience across a wide sector of industries combined with superb leadership and communication skills ensure that Kara maintains the highest levels of professional conduct and fiscal responsibility; creativity with accountability.

Trupti is a highly experienced educator, administrator, instructional designer and trainer having worked for such organizations as NAFL, Mallya Aditi International School, Vidyasagar, Neev and Shishu-Lok. Having extensive work experience in both primary and pre-primary education plus childcare, Trupti brings a highly organized and creative approach to all areas within her responsibilities.

With high levels of self motivation combined with an endless supply of energy and enthusiasm, Trupti is a power-house of ideas; creativity with curriculum.

Manjula is ideally qualified to manage all aspects concerning Kara's admin and accounts, having extensive experience in overseeing payroll, EPF, IT, cash flow, budget design and implementation, PT and more . . .

Where some find joy in poetry and music, others find it in numbers and fiscal management. Thankfully for Kara, Manjula falls into the latter category and since her joining in 2007; she has been busy up-grading internal systems to ensure the highest standards of transparency and accountability.

As the mother of a young child, Manjula brings her own unique experiences, personality and life skills to Kara - she is a joy to work with and a dedicated member of the SMT; creativity with responsibility.
