Kara4Kids unfolds and reveals an inclusive and exploratory program focusing on learning that strengthens a value and skill based pedagogy. The programme gives an opportunity to keep in mind the importance of the core needs of the child culminating into the required academic strengths.
Learning being a two-way process, encourages our facilitators to create a well-defined high quality inclusive setting. Our learning environment encourages a stimulating experience which further leads to an investigative programme instilling alongside values of integrity, independence, respect and tolerance giving rise to appreciation, commitment and self-actualization. Our early childhood programme at Kara4Kids contributes to the realisation of the importance of starting the learning process early to improve society and build an enabling environment. Within the inclusive setting, all children have the right to a quality education that leads to success.
The pillars of the Kara4Kids programme lies within the development of the whole child. This begins in the early years through the use of the arts and manipulatives. During this time, the teachers help the children to build their personal, social and emotional development through positive and meaningful experiences. We further this investigative programme in K1 and K2 where the children hone in on their mathematics, science, technology, research, and language skills. Within this period, curiosity and a love for learning is further fostered to help develop 21st century skills.
Parents, being the child’s first teacher, we, at Kara4Kids take this to heart by keeping close ties with all parents we serve. We strive to build strong relationships with families that reflect positively in the life of the child. With our open-door policies, we encourage families to contribute and add dimension to our early learning facility.
Prachi has a Bachelor degree in Management Studies from The University of Nottingham, UK, and also holds an MBA with specialisations in Marketing and Finance from Amity University. She is actively involved with Marketing and Brand Building for NestaVera, and also oversees the corporate social responsibilities and social and welfare activities that NestaVera undertakes. Prachi strongly believes in developing a culture of trust and transparency at the workplace, which will in-turn facilitate the construction of an efficient, effective, productive and a valuable organisation. As an achiever of excellence in both academic and extra co-curricular fields, she reckons that curiosity is the spark that should be the driving force of every organisation.
Khushroo Rustumji, an alumnus of IIT is the founder of Kara. Having been the Chairman of two companies listed on the BSE, a subsidiary of a Company listed on the London Stock Exchange and a Consultant to numerous national and international organizations, his tenure of work before establishing Kara spans a myriad of corporate experiences.
With a strong belief in how a good Preschool is the vital ingredient in building a Child’s Foundation, Rustumji and his wife envisioned Kara. Upon returning to India after having spent 21 years in the UK, they decided to establish the first pre-school with international standards in Bangalore, much to the delight of discerning parents here. This is how the tale of kara unravelled years ago under the stewardship of Rustumji.
